EVENTS AT COUNTRY CABINS THIS YEAR

This is already shaping up to be a big year here in Lucas County with lots of events and dates are filling up fast here at Country Cabins Motel. First and foremost is the approaching Valentine’s Day. It’s not too late to book your suite or cabin for that romantic night out and not have to drive too far. Several luxurious suites and cabins still available during that week.

The Soda Pop Saloon opens for the season on April 1st and Deb and I are taking dance classes with Ed Sellers and Mary Ann Wells so we will be ready to cut a little better rug than before. Saturday nights are always so much fun with the Diamond Trio band and all of their guests that perform throughout the year. While the Frontier Trading Post is now open on weekends it will also be open for the season on April 1st also and also the Hook, Line and Sinker bait and tackle store. This place is one of the best kept secrets in Lucas County and they have lots of new merchandise and plans for the year.

Coming up for the first weekend in May is the Birding Festival that certainly promises to be even bigger and better than the Big Day of Birding that was held last year. I went on the bird watching tour last year and did not realize there were so many birds in our County. It was very informative and I found out that Birders are some of the most dedicated outdoor enthusiasts and will travel long distances to see a single bird that they have never seen before. If you didn’t make it last year save the date for this year and make sure to attend.

Stop out and take a tour and pick out the perfect room, suite, cabin or RV site. We do have a meeting room that holds up to approximately 40 people for your event. Call 641-217-0534 to book.
